The XDP Xpressor Turbo (Remanufactured Stock Replacement) XD551 is a direct-fit replacement for the worn turbo in your 2004-2005 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke. Issues such as excessive temperatures, over-speeding of the turbo, a lack of lubrication, oil contamination, or worn seals can slowly cause damage to the turbo in your Super Duty. Common signs of turbocharger failure can include a significant loss of power, decreased fuel economy, noisy operation, excessive smoke, increased oil consumption, or a check engine light.

The factory turbocharger is notorious for issues such as soot and ash buildup in the turbine housing causing the vanes to stick or a seized unison ring. XDP now makes it easy to restore proper operation of your 6.0 with the Xpressor OER Series Replacement Turbocharger.

Xpressor OER Series Remanufactured Turbochargers follow a rigorous remanufacturing process to ensure it meets O.E. specifications. Each turbocharger begins by being completely disassembled. Once disassembled into individual components, each part is thoroughly cleaned and inspected.

Next, checks are performed for microscopic damage at the housing, compressor, turbine wheels, and rotating assembly. All bearing surfaces are then precision machined before reassembly. The wheels and rotating assemblies are balanced to OEM specifications. All critical wear parts such as seals, thrust plates, bearings, and fasteners are replaced.

A 100 percent end-of-line testing is performed through the full RPM sweep along with a Noise, Vibration, Harshness (NVH) analysis to ensure the highest quality turbochargers and components. In addition, hot gas stand and burst test validations are done as well as hydraulic and pneumatic leak testing.

The XDP Xpressor Turbo (Remanufactured Stock Replacement) XD551 is a high-quality turbo for your F-250/350/450/550 or Excursion. The drop-in design allows this stock replacement turbocharger to simply bolt in place and connect to all the existing factory connections.

A turbocharger installation kit is also provided with new O-rings, bolts, and an oil feed line gasket.
